George Howard
George joined in 2022 as a Managing Director to Jeremy Coller, leading investment and operational activities across the family office, including at CPT Capital.
Prior to joining, George held a similar role at the Virgin Group, the family office of Sir Richard Branson, where he led investments across Virgin’s largest businesses and worked to set the overall investment strategy for the firm. Working closely with Sir Richard Branson, George was responsible for a range of landmark milestones and transactions including Virgin Galactic’s IPO, the founding and development of Virgin Orbit, and transactions across real estate, venture capital and alternate asset classes. George has extensive Board and execution experience, having worked closely with founders and management teams to develop and grow businesses across a range of sectors, geographies and development stages.
Prior to Virgin, George worked at UBS as part of the UK Investment Banking, M&A and Corporate Broking team. George has a BSc in Physics with First Class Honours from Imperial College London, with a specialisation in Astrophysics.
